Mubea Automotive Slovakia in Kežmarok

The government approved the status of a major investment for the Swiss company Mubea Automotive Slovakia, which wants to build a new factory for the production of automotive components in Kežmarok. This stems from the proposal of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, which approved the government cabinet on 3 April 2019.

The production will focus on stabilizer and clamp hinges. In total, the investor plans to invest € 51 million. Part of the business plan is the establishment of an engineering center and tool shop, where will work 115 of the total 504 employees. In terms of time schedule, the investment is spread over the period 2018 to 2023. The full capacity of the plant is planned for 2025.
